Berenice Rosillo is a published author and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the California State University Northridge where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as a Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Berenice is fluent in English and Spanish. Her training includes helping victims of domestic violence and other crimes process their trauma and attain a higher level of functioning. Ms. Rosillo’s clinical experience also includes work with individuals that present with alcohol and/or substance abuse problems as well as Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She has facilitated support groups for victims of domestic violence, depression and suicide prevention, grief and loss, and parenting education. Berenice is a frequent guest in Radio Centro 93.9, where topics that assist the community are discussed and she contributes by providing a psychotherapeutic point of view..
Currently, Berenice offers her services in private practice in the city of Encino. She uses a wide range of evidence-based approaches to assist individuals, couples and families work through their problems and improve the quality of their lives. She provides a safe, non-judgmental environment where individuals can explore their inner selves and move closer to becoming the person, couple, or family they want to be.
