Meet Our Executive Management Team

President/CEO Fabian Orozco

     Mr. Orozco was introduced to the construction industry during his youth in 1984 while attending high school.

During his sophomore year, Fabian began working with his Father as an apprentice cement finisher and later joined the Cement Masons Union.

 

     He continued with his studies and graduated from the Phoenix Institute of Technology in Phoenix, Arizona with a certification in Architectural and Design.  Since graduating from PIT, Mr. Orozco has worked as a draftsman for several architectural firms and over time was promoted to a position of construction administrator.

 

Mr. Orozco was recruited by Sverdrup in 1994 to join the firm as a construction manager. Following his tenure at Sverdrup he went on to work for industry recognized firms such as Bovis, Jacobs Engineering, Bernards Brothers and Gkkworks where his expertise and knowledge were capitalized on.

 

     He brings with him broad experience in critical components of the industry to include pre-construction services, design build complimented with value engineering (VE) services, general construction, construction management, CPM scheduling, design team interface, owner representation, estimating and buy-out processes, subcontractor management, and comprehensive knowledge of field related operations.

 

     During his many years of employment, He has worked as a ground up superintendent, general superintendent, owners representative, construction manager, construction consultant and project manager.  Mr. Orozco has experience in K-12, higher education, commercial building, tenant Improvements, medical facilities and various public works projects to include libraries, police stations, aquatic centers and gymnasiums.

 

     Mr. Orozco currently holds an active General Construction (B) license and has successfully completed and managed over $300 million dollars in construction projects to date.

 

     Mr. Orozco brings over 26 years of hands on experience encompassing all aspects of the building trades. The knowledge and experience acquired during his ascent from a tradesman to management professional is what differentiates Mr. Orozco as a Principal of Boomer Construction Services. 

Vice-President/Treasurer Alex Ortiz

     Mr. Ortiz has more than 23 years of experience in the construction industry in both the public and private sectors.  He brings vast insight from both the corporate and field experience.  With a degree from a highly regarded Engineering University and with over 16 years of experience working in the education sector, Mr. Ortiz is an invaluable asset to our project team.  He naturally creates a team atmosphere not only with his co-workers, but also with sub-contractors, owners, program managers and design teams.  His tireless work ethic and a "Never say can't" attitude inspires those around him to achieve successful project completions at the highest standards.

     

     As Vice-President of Boomer Construction Services Inc., Alex is involved in every aspect of the business including field operations, estimating, procurement, project management, scheduling, accounting, human resources and corporate strategy planning.

Vice-President/Secretary Anthony Brajevic

     Mr. Brajevic has over eighteen years of progressive experience in the execution and management of large scale private and public works projects.  Mr. Brajevic began his construction career as a tradesman and has knowledge and experience in every aspect of field operations.  As the principle owner of Abcon Inc. for over 16 years, Mr. Brajevic has worked on projects for the California K-12 & Higher Education School  System, various branches and facilities of the United States Military, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, several California County and Municipal Government Agencies, along with numerous private commercial developers.       

    

      As Vice-President of Construction Field Operations, Mr. Brajevic brings the experience necessary to successfully implement systems and procedures to improve project efficiencies through Value Engineering (VE) and Critical Path adherence.  He maintains a proactive, hands-on approach to the daily business at hand.  His ethics and cooperative attitude combined with a leadership skill set are respected by clients and are transmitted to other members of the project team.
